James Pearce
I was born on March 17, 1972 and was lead to the Lord by my middle school band director, Mr. Randy Barham, when I was 12 years old. I attended Bailey Baptist Church where I met many very influential people that would help to guide me in my journey to becoming a minister of the gospel.
I began to completely fill my life with the things God. On Monday nights I would attend the prison ministry with Brother Pete Stone. When I was 14 I realized that I had been called to preach and Brother Stone allowed me to preach my first sermon to a captive audience at the prison in Nashville, NC. I began attending Tuesday night healing services at Living Faith Fellowship with Mrs. Evelyn Folsom. When I was 15, Mr. Bob Lewis introduced me to Mr. Michael Bland who was affiliated with WLLY 1350 AM radio in Wilson, NC. I was hired and trained to be a radio DJ over the summer. I fell in love with the job and it greatly influenced me to become a media minister.
When I was 19 I met my lovely wife, Dana. Our first date was at a revival service at Watson’s Grove FWB Church in Kenly, NC. We were married at Watson’s Grove in 1994 where we were then attending regularly. In 1999 we had a baby girl that we named Haiven. At that time the Lord spoke to my heart and said, “Don’t be afraid of the tools that I will use to bring you to where you need to be.” In 2006 we had another baby girl that we named Julianna. Both of these wonderful tools were used to help build the foundation of Established in the Faith.
