Romans Chapter 7 is one of spiritual failure. It’s the story of a preacher who tried with everything within himself to please God, but was failing, and didn’t understand why, and then the Lord gave him the answer. Romans 7 is not the place for any of us to put up curtains and stay. God intends for us to go on to Chapter 8, where we live a life empowered by the Holy Spirit. But all of us have to go through Romans 7 to get to 8.
